Stop buying and selling email addresses!
This is my message to all online marketers.
I received two calls today to sell me email addresses but I rejected them even they told me they have more than 5 years experience of online marketing. I don’t understand why some of the online marketers still don’t know what is the most important thing online even they have been online for more than 5 years. It is about relationship.
Basically, there are three reasons why I rejected them:
1) Not Targeted
When you buy email addresses online, those email addresses or customers are not targeted. For example, if you buy 10,000 email addresses, out of 10,000 email addresses, how many percent really interested in your products or services? If out of 10,000 email addresses, only 10% in your products or services, that’s not targeted enough. You are wasting your money and time to buy them.
2) Relationship
Relationship is the most important thing marketers have to build online. Even those email addresses are targeted, but what makes them believe in you, your website, your company, your products and services. When you send emails to them, most probably they will report your emails as spam emails because they don’t know you.
Again, stop buying and selling email addresses, learn how to do email marketing effectively. Once you know how to do email marketing effectively, you can use it in any businesses.
